This venue has been created to shine light on the discriminatory practices, abuse of power, and unjust teaching conditions taking place within the Roosevelt School District in Roosevelt, New York.

In a district where 56% of the population is Hispanic, this demographic is essentially ignored by the District and not reflected in the personnel and Board of Directors. Teachers are given opportunities based on who they know and on the color of their skin. They teach without adequate curriculum materials under the direction of Administrators who have their own personal agendas.

Please help us continue to shed light on the unjust practices occurring within the district and in the individual schools by contacting the writers with information about any of the schools within the Roosevelt, NY school district.
